What information do we collect?

Every computer connected to the World Wide Web is assigned both a domain name and an IP (Internet Protocol) address. When visitors request a page from within our site, our servers automatically identify and log the request.

By itself, this information reveals nothing personally identifiable about you. The only information automatically aggregated and logged is:

The purpose for this information is actually two-fold. One, we have found it advantageous to examine visitor traffic in aggregate form, so that we can ensure maximum compatibility for the various browsers and operating systems that visit our site.

Additionally, as any business will attest, it is our desire to generate greater amounts of visitor traffic from the Alexander County area. By analyzing visitation patterns, referring URLs and search engine phrases, we can strategically enhance our exposure on the web.

What are cookies?

If and when we request your identity, we will clearly indicate the purpose of such an inquiry before the information is requested.

We will never sell, rent, lease, or give your e-mail address to a third-party. In addition, we will never send you e-mail that you have not agreed to receive. You will only hear from us if you have joined our mailing list. In that case, you will be contacted with announcements and newsletters and there always will be an opt-out option, which will disable future communications from being sent.
